The pre-order day has finally arrived and Apple have now put the Apple iPad available in store ready for you to purchase. Both versions of the Apple iPad are available for pre-order in the US only. Apple announced the iPad originally in January and represents a larger tablet-sized device running Apple’s iPhone operating system
Apple’s 3G iPad, available in 16GB for $629, 32GB for $729 and 64GB for $829, will not be delivered until late April. The Wi-Fi iPad pre-orders will be delivered on or around Saturday, April 3rd. This applies to each of the three versions – a 16GB version for $499, a 32GB version for $599 and a 64GB version for $699. Of course the lack of Flash support isn’t the only disappointing factor when it comes to the iPad.
Amazon had very early iPad pre-order pages , but they have been removed. It looks like that the iPad will only be available for pre-order on the Apple site.

A new rumor from XDA-Developers conference suggest that HTC is in the process of introducing a new Windows Mobile 6.5 device in summer. The forum user also added that the device will be smaller and slimmer than the earlier versions of the Touch Pro. As the claimed device said to be smaller, The poster is likely referring to the HTC Tera, a QWERTY slider with a 3.0 inch WQVGA resistive screen.
Considering that the Windows Phone 7 OS will not be ready by then, it looks like HTC is going to be putting Windows Mobile 6.5 under the hood. Even if they are planning to release the mobile this summer, there would have been some news related to its launch or an event where they would launch the product. Let’s hope for some official confirmation from HTC on that.

Images of the BlackBerry Bold Slider are surfacing again. These pics give us a look at the back end of the device as well as give us a size idea by being compared to a BlackBerry Curve 8900.
It looks like the Slider has a Bold 9000 style physical keyboard, and a virtual keyboard is displayed in landscape mode. The megapixels on the camera is rumored to be 5MP liquid lens.Adding to this rumor is a UAProf found on RIM’s website for a 9700a that lists a portrait HVGA+ display (as opposed to the Bold 9700’s landscape HVGA+ display). We have no indication of when this might land and in what form.
