In Hong Kong, a special edition of the Nokia N96 has been made available for sale, complete with Bruce Lee’s image on the phone itself and other swag in the box. This device match for those of you that dig those old Kung-Fu movies, or are just into the martial arts in general. The feature packed phone sports a Bruce Lee image and signature on the back plastic while also bundling some never seen before pictures of the legend and an action-figure doll.

This smartphone is no different than the standard N96. The N96 features 16GB of storage, a microSDHC card slot, a 5-megapixel camera with flash, a GPS, WiFi, 3G access and more. Nokia announced that IBM Lotus Notes will finally be compatible with a couple of Nokia cellphones, more specifically the ones based on S60. This means that S60 3rd Edition phones can connect to corporate email accounts via Lotus Domino Server software, called Lotus Notes Traveler. Lotus Notes has almost 140 million licensed users. The announcement opens the door for more than 80 million Nokia S60 3rd Edition devices to connect to corporate e-mail accounts. Traveler enables real-time syncing with email, calendar, address book, journal and to-do list data.

A gold edition of the Motorola A1600 touchscreen phone has just unveiled on the Chinese website of the company. Motorola’s A1600 that has been souped up by Cartier with gold and fake crocodile skin. Unlike Vertu, this option won’t burn a hole in your pocket, but does it worth it?

Other than the new shiny colors the Motorola A1600 Gold has no differences from the original model. It still flaunts the 2.4-inch 262K color QVGA touchscreen display and the signature MING semi-transparent plastic active cover. Nokia E71 finally coming to AT&T as E71x. Those who are waiting to pick up the Nokia E71 can now do so from AT&T, where it will be known as the E71x. The best part in all this is that AT&T’s E71x will have a color version never seen before: all-black, as opposed to the grey steel and white steel versions known until know.

Earlier this week, the handset was announced as coming to Canada’s Rogers provider. The E71 sports a full QWERTY keyboard, 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS functionality and an integrated Wi-Fi module. The OS will be Symbian’s S60.Word has it that the E71x can be yours for $150 or so as long as you sign up for a 2-year contract.
