The Palm Eos is gearing up for release on the major GSM carrier sometime during second half of 2009. Engadget has posted a slide capture of an internal AT&T doc that lists the specs and plans for the Palm Eos (Castle). According to a leak on Engadget, the Palm Eos will be launched in the second half of 2009.Codename Palm Castle, the Palm Eos is not confirmed to be running WebOS and does not have a slider like the Palm Pre. It is in candy bar design, comes with QWERTY keyboard, 2.63-inch touch screen, 2 megapixel fixed focus camera, 4GB internal storage, Bluetooth and A-GPS. The Eos is said to be exceptionally slim. It will measure 55mm x 111mm (~ 2.1″ x 4.3″ inches), weigh 100 grams (3.52 ounces) and come in at only 10.6mm (.42″ inches) thin. It is interesting that the Eos now looks to be using the Qualcomm MSM7225 processor instead of the supercharged Texas Instruments OMAP found on the Pre.
