Palm releases Mojo SDK Beta for WebOS

Palm releases the Mojo Software Development Kit at its developer portal, open to anyone who want to develope webOS application. Any developer with an e-mail address can download the SDK and get to work writing code for the Palm Pre’s operating system. The Mojo SDK and associated documents are the tools that developers need to create applications, games and other content for the webOS platform. Additionally, Palm said it has new applications for the Palm Pre and webOS in the pipeline for the Palm App Catalog. Palm will begin accepting submissions for new applications starting in the fall.

Palm also will host several events to get developers up to snuff, including events hosted by preDevCamp, an informal network of Mojo developers. The preDevCamp events will be held in 73 cities globally.
