Palm Infocenter is reporting that according to a SprintUsers forum thread, Palm is about to release two new Centro colors on Sprint. To accompany the Red, Black and Pink Palm Centros, Sprint will be releasing “Rose” and “Green” colored versions. Palm’s most recent Palm OS smartphone, the Centro, recently passed the 2 million sold mark. According to this SprintUsers forum thread, Palm is about to unleash two new Centro colors to help that device inch closer to 3 million units sold. These new versions are identical save for the addition of the Facebook application that was released earlier this year, as well as a QVGA touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera with video recorder, media player, Sprint TV access, microSDHC expansion slot, and Bluetooth. According to Palm Infocenter, a reported release date of October 19th.
