Pantech and Verizon are about to launch a new world phone, the Escapade. The phone will take off on August 21st to be crowned a member of Verizon’s non-smartphone community. The Escapade probably does not have a spot for microSD cards or even an EV-DO radio. But, it will be one of the few non-smartphones offered by Big Red that is capable of operating overseas on GSM networks means you can take it with you at all times, no matter where you decide to travel to.
The Escapade features a 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, QVGA internal display, dual-mode dual-band GSM/CDMA access and speakerphone with 3 international adapters, standard battery and SIM card included.
