Pricing info on the AT&T Bold and Rogers 8220

The anticipated release of the RIM’s flip phone is upon us and a new price sheet has emerged. BlackBerry Pearl 8220, also known as BlackBerry KickStart will apparently be more expensive than initially rumored. As the advertising material states, the BlackBerry Kickstart 8220 is listed with a price tag of $149.00 with a minimum $35.00 plan that is of course on a three year contract. Seems a tad expensive, and there is no word on whether Rogers intends adding further price plans, rebates or deals. Maybe Rogers will drop this price a little later on, as a below $100.00 might be just enough incentive for people to actually consider the BlackBerry Kickstart 8220. In case you don’t know yet what the 8220 has to offer, here are its features: a 240 x 320 pixel internal display, a 128 x 160 pixel external screen, a SureType QWERTY keypad (similar to the ones of the Pearl 8110 and 8120 models, but bigger – hence easier to use), trackball navigation, a 2 Megapixel camera with flash, a 3.5mm headset jack, 80MB of internal memory and, of course, a new BlackBerry OS.
