TeleNav launches standalone GPS device , shoots you with a Shotgun.  GPS the Shotgun from TeleNav brings a bit more than your standard Garmin. It’s somewhat comparable to the Dash as well. Two way connectivity translates to a bunch of features that make your driving a lot easier. First off it has real-time traffic which looks for trouble spots along your route every five minutes, internet connected search with an initial database of 11 million entries, quarterly updates maps and business listings, ability to send addresses to your device wirelessly from any computer, and the ability to upgrade with new features and applications

The Shotgun has a 4.3-inch LCD and connects wirelessly over a GSM network for real-time traffic updates and OTA upgrades:

• Weather – Get up-to-date, detailed weather information.
• Commute Alerts – Get emailed alerts about traffic conditions on your daily commute.
