A new Pocket PC manufactured in Russia by RoverPC has been unveiled as RoverPC X7. X7 is the latest device created by RoverPC and it’s presented as its most powerful communicator handset. It’s a slider smartphone for you to consider if you want to move away from all the 3G iPhone hype that’s gripping the world in hysteria. The Pocket PC runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and presents a set of features that make it quite interesting. The coolest thing about the X7 is its 3D User Interface, which resembles the one embedded by HTC in its new Touch Diamond.
The new Rover features a 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen display with 65K colors and 240 x 320 pixels, Wi-Fi, built-in GPS, quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with both GPRS and EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, FM radio, Music and Video players, a 2.5mm headset jack, USB 2.0, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, support for microSD and microSDHC memory cards, 128MB of ROM, Enlarge picture 256MB Enlarge pictureof RAM and a 624 MHz Marvell PXA310 processor. The X7 measures 121 x 65.5 x 17 millimeters, weighs 132 grams and includes a 1500 mAh battery of unknown (yet) performances. RoverPC X7 will be available starting August for a retail price of 13,999 Russian rubles, meaning about 390 Euros or 610 USD.
