Sagem announced the release of Sagem Bleu 453x, a new affordable handset for the Indian mobile market.

The 453x is an entry-level device targeted for users who don’t care too much about advanced functionality. The features a 1.5 inch screen with 128 x 128 pixels and support for 65K colors, GSM connectivity with GPRS, MP3 player, Video player (AVI, MP4 and 3GP supported), FM radio, Bluetooth with A2DP, mobile tracker and microSD card support for several extra GBs, allowing users to store a decent amount of music, videos and other content.
The handset also packs a VGA (640 x 480 pixels) photo camera with video recording, good for taking occasional snapshots where there’s no better device to do it with.
Sagem Bleu 453x will be soon available across India in two colors, for a retail price of 3,350 INR, meaning about $82 or 53 Euros.
The 453x comes after another Sagem from the Bleu series was launched in India, namely the 454x model, a device that came out in November 2007, via Pratham Telecom, the official distributor of Sagem phones for the Indian market.
