Verizon Wireless will launch a new Samsung phone, the SCH-U750 or the Alias 2 on May 11th. The Samsung Alias 2, which is also known as Samsung U750, was first seen in the last couple of days of March. The phone has similarity in design to its predecessor, the U740. The Alias also has a dual-hinged mechanism but the QWERTY keyboard is replaced with a dynamic keyboard.Unfortunately, exact pricing isn’t known at this point, but is expected to be around $100-$130 after rebate on a 2 year contract

The Alias 2 will also feature a 2.6-inch QVGA internal display, 2.0 megapixel camera, proprietary feature phone OS laden with Verizon customizations and dedicated hot keys for one-touch access to Bluetooth, text messaging, voicemail, camera, voice commands, games and alarms.
