Back in August Samsung Code SCH-I220 was first revealed to the public back. Now MetroPCS has gone official with the device. The first Windows Mobilepowered Samsung device runs on WinMo 6.1 that brings all the advantages of the Microsoft OS along with WizPro UI that allows to customize home screen and most frequently used features. Samsung Code is a business smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard, support for 1X EVDO connectivity, a 2.4 inch QVGA display and a 2 megapixel camera. The SCH-I220 comes with video recording (via the previously mentioned camera), full HTML browsing, a microSD card slot (32GBmax) and a battery that provides 6 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby.
The Samsung Code comes with a $50 rate plan when purchased from MetroPCS which includes unlimited talk, text and data, advanced Web browsing, e-mail and other multimedia functions.
