It was reported earlier that Samsung could be planning to launch a new Galaxy smartphone running Ice Cream Sandwich at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona. A tweet from Eldar Murtazin, Editor in Chief of Mobile-Review, showed up the press picture of what looks like an upgraded Samsung Galaxy S II. As seen from the image, it’s pretty much the Galaxy S II except that Ice Cream Sandwich’s onscreen buttons. It also has only three navigational buttons, compliant with ICS recommendations. That phone also popped up in a benchmark revealing that its processor clock has been bumped to 1.5 GHz (up from 1.2 in the Galaxy S II).
