The Samsung Giorgio Armani has been a figure of cell phone elegance ever since it was unveiled last year. Unfortunately, due to its price, the humble mortal could only gaze upon it. According to reports the designer phone is now set to be shipped to Taiwan. The Giorgio Armani-Samsung dual-brand EDGE-enabled handset will be available in the country by the end of April for US$1,116.
For those who’ve forgotten, the Samsung Giorgio Armani has a full 2.6-inch touch screen display and a 3-megapixel camera. The shipment to Taiwan would be limited to 3,000 units in the beginning. With a price like that, I bet 3,000 units would be enough for a while until those who’re scrimping for the phone could already afford it.
