The rumor is finally coming true, in fact the Samsung Glyde will be release on Verizon’s online stores by May 9. Although there are no available pricing and other details on Verizon’s site yet, some data specs shows what are store for us uber cool slaves of this mobile phone phenomenon.

The Samsung Glyde (aka SGH-U940) is a side sliding CDMA phone that has only one key on its main face. Somehow mimicking the iPhone or iPod touch. But once you slide out the slider, you’ll find a full QWERTY keyboard for faster text input.
The Samsung Glyde using network on CDMA/ 1xEV-DO and boasts of powerful features such as; Bluetooth stereo, Bluetooth printing, Broadband Access Connect, HTML browser, EMS/MMS/SMS messaging, supports various music formats, comes with a removable microSD with capacity of up to 8GB, 2.0 mp camera, hearing aid compatibility, video capture, voide dial, voice command capable, voice note memo, comes with Verizon’s V CAST Music and VS Navigator.
The Samsung Glyde technical goodies including; 210 minutes talk time and 250 hours standby time, a 2.8†bright screen display with a resolution of 240×440 in 262K colors, can contain up to 500 contacts, and most importantly despite its bulk weighs only 117g. The only left now for Verizon to do, is to announce its pricing details and the accompanying service package for the Samsung Glyde.
