Samsung, the Korean manufacturer, shows off not only the UltraTOUCH but also the other two hot phones it has prepared – the OMNIA HD (known as the Acme i8910 until now) and the BeatDJ. Billboards presenting the Ultra Touch, the Omnia HD and the Beat DJ have appeared in Spain. Both of them will be showcased at MWC 2009 by the South Korean company. As the name suggests the Omnia HD is a new version of the existing Omnia touchscreen smartphone with a higher resolution screen. The Samsung Beat DJ is a music phone with touchscreen and sound technology from Bang & Olufsen. Samsung uses the B&O ICEpower in the Beat DJ.
As far as rumors go Samsung i8910 also sports GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity, HDMI output and a 3.5mm audio jack as well as DivX and DNLA support. 3G is also certainly on board since a videocall camera is clearly visible on all leaked photos. Samsung i8910 Omnia HD wiil run on the Symbian S60 5th edition touch platform.
Expect more details about the Omnia HD and the Beat DJ to arrive on Monday.
