The new Samsung Instinct HD is going on sale this coming Sunday September 27th in Best Buy stores according to this Sprint press-release. It looks like Sprint’s Instinct HD is going to appeal to your entertainment needs with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a high definition 5 megapixel camera (and camcorder), with HD video playback (via a TV-out port) and recording. Sprint doesn’t say whether it uses HDMI and whether it supports 720p or 1080p. A 5-megapixel camera and a much improved Opera Mobile 9.7 web browser are similarly new.
Samsung have also preloaded Twitter and Facebook access and Visual Voicemail, to which Sprint add Sprint TV, Sprint Navigation (with 2D and 3D mapping) and various sports-related apps. The Instinct HD has the latest version will add Wi-Fi and it can use Sprint’s EV-DO Rev.
