Today, at the S60 Summit in Barcelona, the Samsung SGH-L870 was publicly unveiled. Samsung announced the L870 Symbian-based phone. Interestingly, spec sheets obtained by phoneArena.com (via Engadget) specify that the phone uses the Safari web browser. When many people have had keen interest the iPhone’s beautiful Safari browser, Samsung L870 slider phone will be apparently sport Apple’s Mobile Safari Web browser. This can be the first time a phone (other than the iPhone, of course) has the Safari browser. Samsung L870 is covered with stainless steel body and brushed pattern. It is really look better than on the spy photos. Samsung L870 is a S60 smartphone, and it runs on the latest Symbian 9.3 and 3rd Edition of the S60 interface with Feature Pack 2, just resemble the newest Nokia smartphones. The Samsung SGH-L870 is a half-inch (13.5mm) thick slider, with a 3-megapixel camera, a 2.4” QVGA display, including 100MB of memory plus microSD slot, FM radio and Stereo Bluetooth.
