Samsung released the MyShot SCH-r430. The MyShot has excellent call quality and bright displays. It is a classic flip camera phone that is being offered in two colors, sleek black and royal red. Measuring 3.64 inches long by 1.87 inches wide by 0.77 inch thick, the MyShot is a compact clamshell with curves all around plus a soft touch plastic back. The hinge mechanism felt solid when opening and closing the phone, and it feels comfortable in the hand.
SAMSUNG MyShot™ features a full 1.3 megapixels of picture power. With a 20MB of internal memory this phone allows you to take decent pictures and store hundreds. It includes bluetooth technology, voice recognition, WAP enabled, and advanced speech recognition. It’s also one of the first phones to support the CDMA 1700MHz band. We’re even more pleased to note that the 1-inch display has support for 65,000 colors, which means that it’ll support photo caller ID. It can also be used as a camera viewfinder for self-portraits. Unfortunately it provides as a simple camera lens which do note there’s no flash. The menu interface is the standard grid variety, and is easy to navigate. You can adjust the backlight time, the menu style, the clock format, the theme, as well as the dialing font size.
