Samsung SGH a237 for AT&T

AT&T has released its Samsung a237 entry-level clamshell  for all its American customers in need of affordable devices. While Samsung’s a237 may not be the most exciting or feature-packed handset they’ve ever released  but if you’re looking for a nice cell phone just to make voice calls, the a237 may be the one for you.  With Bluetooth technology, you can talk hands-free even while driving. Available in your choice of blue, red, or black color schemes, the a237 also packs a VGA resolution camera to quickly capture every fun minute. The A237 is a quad-band GSM/EDGE entry-level flip that has Bluetooth, and dedicated messaging keys.

Several preloaded games come with this latest Samsung offering along with a messaging service, voice mail, speakerphone and MEdia Net Internet browsing. This may not be the most advanced phone in the world-far from it, actually-but it is a handy device for those that really just want a phone to keep in touch with. The a237 weighs in at a mere 82.2g (2.9oz). The Samsung SGH-a237 should be available in stores today, priced at $19.99 with a 2 year commitment after $30 mail-in rebate.

  1. Pat Says:

When I try to download pictures and wallpaper from my Vista computer (with the correct cord), my computer won’t recognize that the cell phone is plugged into (via USB) the computer. I can’t seem to find a driver for it, but it shouldn’t need one. It should show up in “Computer” but doesn’t show that it is plugged in. Can you help?
