Samsung announced the presence of the new SGH-M150 during the CommunicAsia fair from Singapore. This new stylish GPRS dual-band mobile phone is a budget phone trying to resemble the look of a high priced fashion device. It has a metal-resembling design and features a softly brushed hairline pattern which is found in Samsung’s high end metal phones and in four color variations (Light Gray, Charcoal Gray, Pure White, Lavender Pink and Ice Blue). It measures only 106.5 x 45.4 x 12.7 millimeters. Specifications include dual-band GSM 900/1800 with 1.77” 65k colors display and 128×160 pixels resolution, a MP3 player, VGA camera with MPEG-4 video recording, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, FM radio with recording a mere 20 MB of internal memory to store everything. The first market to get the Samsung M150 (or SGH-M150) will be Germany, where the slim candybar should be on sale starting mid-August. After that, the handset will also be released in other markets across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa with pricing yet to be announced.
