At Mobile World Congress, Â Samsung in Korea announced that it will be showing off a new version of its TouchWiz user interface. TouchWiz is a finger-friendly UI that competes with the iPhone and Android platforms. The phone boasts of new 3D effects, enhanced haptic feedback, new gesture and voice controls, a widget dock for better management of downloaded widgets, and a new Photo Contact features that makes use of face detection technology to help you better integrate photos with your contact list
In keeping with Samsung’s design philosophies, the Samsung UltraTOUCH S8300 sticks to the slim side of things with its thin 12.7mm profile. According to Samsung corporate in Korea, TouchWiz will see an overhaul, to be fully revealed next week during Mobile World Congress.
