Samsung has launched a new mobile phonein the Indian market. The new handset codenames Samsung MPower 699. Partnered with Qualcomm to bring Mpower 699 slider phone in India, Samsung claimed Samsung MPower 699 to be the first in the world OMH (Open Market phone) CDMA phones. Until now, the customer was forced to buy a locked handset from the company which was providing the service as well.
The OMH technology enables users to buy CDMA handset and SIM from various operators, making the model world s first of its kind. Mpower 699 is equipped with a 1.3MP Camera with video recording and advanced multimedia features such as audio player, video player and stereo FM radio, Mobile Tracker, dedicated camera key, and a 2GB MicroSD card.
