review by Laptopmag “It’s certainly the sleekest music phone yet. (See our photo gallery). Measuring only 0.4 inches thin and weighing a mere 2.6 ounces, the black-and-silver UpStage could easily be mistaken for a state-of-the-art flash MP3 player. The media-centric side of the device houses a large but low-res 2.1-inch screen and a touch-sensitive control pad with a center Play/Pause button that you can also use to make menu selections. The more phone-centric side of the UpStage–designed for making calls, sending text messages, and managing contacts–sports a tiny 1.4-inch color LCD and a flat but very usable tactile dialpad and directional pad. ”
review by PCmag “Sprint’s Groove Mobile music player, accessed from the flip side’s home screen with a quick launch button, is fine when you have just a few songs. But its interface is ugly, and navigating through the 500 songs you can put on a 2GB microSD card takes forever. You can step through songs in seemingly random order or slowly pace through a list that shows every song in order by artist.”
review by Cnet “The Samsung Upstage SPH-M620 has decent call and music quality, an included extended battery, and a complete feature set that includes stereo Bluetooth, a music player, a megapixel camera, and EV-DO support. It also offers an original, ergonomic design that’s user-friendly and attractive.”
