Samsung have launched their latest rugged cellphone, the Samsung Xplorer B2100.This phone corresponds to military standards MIL-STD-810F, which is built to withstand submersion, dust, extremes of temperature and shocks. It’s also IP57 certified, means it can last up to 30 minutes underwater (at a maximum depth of 1-metter)
The Samsung Xplorer has a 1.77-inch 120 x 160 LCD display, microSD slot to augment the pitiful 7MB of internal storage, a 1.3-megapixel camera and speakerphone. Samsung xplorer b2100 also includes Bluetooth version 2.1 and battery with 600 capacities, calculated for 9 hours in the conversation regime.While it’s quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900) though not 3G. To make it more usable outdoors, Samsung included a loud external speaker, noise cancellation technology and a flashlight.

Hi,
The mobile looks OK not too good.***
I tested some features including throwing the cell phone and drowning it in water, the phone still worked without a hitch and scratch.*****
Camera is good in 1.3megapixel range with zooming and brightness features.****
Bluetooth was ok not good.***
While talking on the phone it feels as if i am talkint to a robot, voice modulation is not good.**
Overall with Rs.5500/-(with 2gb mem card) the phone is good.
