SingTel has announced that they will be bringing the Apple iPhone to the aforementioned nations by the end of the year, but they didn’t offer a specific launch date. SingTel owns a 30.5% stake in India’s Bharti Airtel and holds 44.5% of Globe in the Philippines.

Australia’s Optus is wholly owned by SingTel. Vodafone’s also distributing iPhone in India and Australia.
