Sony Ericsson have just released a new press release revealing two new entry-level mobile phones. For those of you looking for a lackluster feature set on a budget, the Sony Ericsson J132 and K330 will get the job done. These phones have been designed for lasting communication, both mobiles have superb standby times.
The J132 is described as a “talk and text phone” with FM radio and stereo hands free kit. Sony Ercisson says the solid feel and dust-resistant keypad make it an “ideal everyday companion” aimed at those in emerging markets. It also offers a torch function and up to 9 hours of talk time or 450 hours standby. In a world of Windows Mobile phones that lack the battery power to make it through a normal 9 to 5 workday, a refreshing 9 hours of talk time is something to admire. The J132 will be available in night black and heaven blue in selected markets from Q4 2008.
The second device announced, the Sony Ericsson K330, packs a bare essential VGA camera and capacity to store up to 12 minutes of video (in 2 minute clips). The K330 steps it up by including Bluetooth, VGA camera and Health mate application. With a 1000 contact phonebook and 450 text message capacity, the K330 will get the job done and if all else fails both phones offer FM radios. The K330 arrives in Gold on Black / Green on Black a quarter earlier.
