Rumors have been around for quite a few years  of a possible Sony PlayStation type mobile phone. Speaking to the Financial Times, Hideki Komiyama said that a PlayStation phone “could happen”. It could happen it probably means they have given the possibility some serious thought.  Seeing as Sony already license their CyberShot and Walkman brand names, it does seem strange they would stop short here, however, this may not be the end of the line for the mobile gaming handset. So no doubt this latest rumour won’t be the last on the Sony PlayStation phone. Hideki Komiyama claims that a PlayStation mobile, building on the Walkman and Cybershot phones, “could happen.”
