Sony Ericsson W995 Hikaru Walkmanphone Goes Live

the Sony Ericsson W995, formerly known as Hikaru, just got unveiled as the latest addition to SE’s walkman phones range. Once known as the Hikaru, the W995 stands as the company’s flagship non-touch media phone with an 8-megapixel camera. The W995 The Sony Ericsson W995 is a classy slider with a metal housing  and comes in black, red and silver.

The main features of W995 is the 8.1 mp camera with autofocus. The phone comes with 8GB m2 card in the box and it has 118MB of built-in memory. Hikaru has 2.6 QVGA scratch-resistant TFT screen 262k colors. On the right side is located the dedicated music buttons plus volume keys and one camera key. W995 offers some nice conectivity – aGPS function, WiFi, DLNA, gMaps and PS3 compatibility. The W995 walkman phone is also the first Sony Ericsson phone that featuring a new software called Media Go, providing an easy and convenient way of transfering any audio, photos and videos between your phone and computer. Media Go can be used to rip your Music CD and convert video format to fit your mobile phone video format.
