The Sony Ericsson online shop in the UK has just put up a pre-order page for the XPERIA X10, and lists it as launching in February 2010.. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is set to be the company’s first Android smartphone.
This is Son Eric’s 8.1-megapixel Android effort. It features all the usual smartphone perks, including quad band GSM connectivity, HSDPA Internet, GPS, Wi-Fi, plus a 102mm (4-inch) touchscreen running at 854×480-pixels, all running atop a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU. Aside from running on Android, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 also boasts 8.1-megapixel AF camera, and features their new UX interface, Mediascape, and Timescape apps that helps set this baby apart from the rest of the Android pack.
Sadly, there is little more information to be had other than you can register your interest in this handset and you’ll be informed closer to the time.
