Following Sony New Zealand, Sony Japan today updated its dedicated Vaio website with a mysterious announcement. The company has posted a teaser for a “VAIO New Mobile†on its Japanese home page. The Flash ad shows a woman pulling something out of her bag that appears to be the size of an envelope. It’s also the size of her handbag, which makes me wonder if she has room for anything else in there, like maybe her keys and money?
What we do know about this mystery device is, it will feature both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity along optional 3G Internet access. The announcement is a little more concrete than the one that was on Sony New Zealand’s site a few days ago. There’s no word on whether those who signed up for a chance to win the new VAIO device are still entered into a competition, or indeed if any news will be forthcoming.
