Deutsche Telekom said to be the third carrier that have an already difficult combination like Sprint taking over Nextel. But this is just a rumor from the German paper Die Spiegel and doesn’t tell the sources. Based on that rumor, Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile USA are making the possibility of snagging Sprint.
What this can be a successful formula for taking out the competition? Not only will the German company have to integrate their own services and promote them to Sprint’s customers but they will also have to continue the integration of Nextel’s users. That means mixing GSM, AWS, PCS, CDMA and iDEN.
