We have recieved a tip pointing us to this picture of an Asus device suspected of being the P565. The rather unasuming facade hides a real monster inside - the first smartphone with an 800 Mhz processor!
ASUS P565 should run Windows Mobile 6.1 on a 800MHz Marvell Tavor processor (that’s a new one), featuring a 2.8-inch VGA screen and a 3 megapixel camera, ASUS P565 will boast European HSDPA connectivity, built-in GPS and a good battery. It’s a 1300 mAh that will work for 3.5 hours for your 3G talks. Asus will also be adding their own additional Asus Glide software suite to customize Windows Mobile. If the rumors turn out to be correct, we’ll be hearing more official words from ASUS in October when it’s supposed to be released to the market.
