T-Mobile G1 coming to the UK by month’s end

T-Mobile UK today issued a press release confirming the T-Mobile G1 will be on sale across the United Kingdom on October 30th just a few days after it hits North American shores. Exclusive to T-Mobile, the G1 comes with full touch screen functionality plus a QWERTY keyboard for easy online communication, high speed internet with popular Google services already on board, and access to innovative application downloads from the new Android Market. The press release also notes that the G1 will only be available in Black and White.

The device will cost nothing if users sign up for a £40 (nearly $70) per month Combi or Flext voice and data plan, though the length of the term hasn’t been specified.In addition, Combi gives users 800 minutes of talk time and unlimited text message, with Flext offering 1,250 minutes and 2,500 text messages or a combination of either. UK buyers will get a choice of white or black G1 handsets, going without the brown of the US edition.

T-Mobile UK states that more than 25,000 customers have pre-registered for a G1 until now. So it looks like it is not only the US that’s under the spell of Android, but Great Britain too.
