Canadian wireless carrier Telus has announced that they will be carrying the HTC Touch Diamond in its CDMA form “later this summer” (presumably by the end of September.) The first official news of a CDMA Touch Diamond does not come from the main suspect, Sprint, but from the Canadian carrier Telus. It proves that Canada is to be the first North American market to offer the hottest new touchscreen flavor from HTC. The device is also quite affordable at $349 Canadian for a 2 year contract, and $149 for a 3 year contract, and with unlimited web, IM and e-mail for only $30 and includes Telus Navigator. The full-body touchscreen, sleek design, and slim-waistline of the HTC Touch Diamond aren’t going to be exclusive European treats for much longer.

The phone also features 2.8-inch VGA display (complementing the new TouchFLO 3D UI), GPS, WiFi, and 3 megapixel camera goodness that you can handle. Oh, and HSDPA data connectivity rounds out the HTC Touch Diamond’s massively impressive feature-set - ensuring that you’re never more than a button click and a few seconds away from accessing all the web’s knowledge-base.
