Toshiba finally gave us a launch date –June 20th for the Portege G810. Akihabara reported that Toshiba announced recently its new Portégé G810, a stylish touch-screen device with high speed internet and navigation. Toshiba G810 comes with a simple design but that suits it very well. The device weighs 120 grams and measures 110 x 58 x 14 millimeters – which is not much, considering the fact that it’s almost a Pocket PC. It uses Windows Mobile 6.1 therefore it brings applications like Pocket Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player and SPB Mobile Shell included. Additional specs: HSDPA and HSUPA, 2.8-inch touch screen, Bluetooth, WiFi, FM radio, and 4GB of storage via microSD. It seems that all-touchscreen device is pretty much identical to the HTC Diamond, but fails to deliver the VGA resolution on its 2.8-inch display — it uses QVGA (240×320 pixels), instead. There’s also GPS (and A-GPS support).
