Verizon Escapade – New Verizon Cell Phones

Verizon Wireless introduced the new Verizon Escapade, a dual-mode CDMA/GSM globally roaming flip phone . The Verizon Escapade cell phone which has dual-band CDMA and quad-band GSM compatibility allows customers to place voice calls in more than 220 destinations worldwide . The Basking Ridge, N.J.-based carrier said the Escapade was designed with globetrotters and jet-setters in mind — running on both CDMA and GSM networks. The Escapade sports dual color displays. The larger internal TFT display measures 2 inches across the diagonal and is capable of rendering 262,000 colors, while the smaller external display is a 1.1-inch CSTN unit.The handset also includes VZ Navigator for audible turn-by-turn directions to more than 15 million points of interest in the U.S. A Vodafone SIM card is included in the box. Other features include with a 2MP camera, Mobile Web, Mobile Email, Bluetooth-enabled with support for headset, hands-free, phonebook access, and Object Push for vCard profiles, T9 predictive text, Voice commands key. It carries a price tage of $29.99 after rebate and your signature on a two-year contract.
