Verizon preps Samsung Rogue and Intensity for September 8 launches

Verizon plans to release the Samsung Rogue, an AMOLED widescreen handset, and the Samsung Intensity, a low-cost touch screen device, starting September 8.The Samsung Rogue cell phone has Qwerty and TouchWiz, very nice to see a presentation of a touchwiz phone, TouchWiz interface responsive, carefully thought-out, superb QWERTY
The Samsung Rogue features a 3.1 inch WQVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, TouchWiz user interface, HTML browser, sliding QWERTY keyboard, media player with VCAST Music and Video support, 3.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, flash and auto focus, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, microSDHC expansion slot and speakerphone.
The Verizon Samsung Rogue will be available for $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate on a 2-year contract.

Apart of that, the date for Samsung’s Intensity has also been set and same like Samsung Rogue it will be released on September 8.The Intensity keeps things simple by leaving out 3G and sticking with a 1.3 megapixel camera. Users seeking a cheap messaging phone can opt for Intensity (U450). Samsung U450 Intensity, features include 2.1-inch display, Bluetooth, 2.5mm headset jack, , and a microSD card slot that can hold up to 16GB.
