The LG Versa, has been officially announced for Verizon Wireless and this modular touchscreen LG mobile phone will be available from March 1st. The LG Versa will have a touchscreen handset that comes with LG’s own UI and a detachable QWERTY keyboard. The cover comes with its own OLED display which should be very useful when the Versa is hidden in the closed cover.
Specs-wise, the Versa will be a regular phone (non-smart), featuring a large 3-inch TFT touch-sensitive display with a resolution of 240×480 pixels, 2-megapixel camera. In addition, the device will offer a joyful internet experience, which will even feature Adobe Flash support, in order to enable playing online videos. Â The Versa’s display also boasts an animated 3D interface, plus you can customize three different home screens with three different layouts of your choosing.
The LG Verizon Wireless will charge you $249.99 to get your hands on it. There’s also a $50 mail-in rebate that will bring that under $200.
