At CES 2012, ViewSonic introduced a brand new budget tablet running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, called the ViewPad e70. It will be targeted to entry level users with moderate specifications. The tablet will be available in the coming months for $169. The E70 has a 1GHz processor and a 7-inch, 800 x 600 display, rear and front-facing cameras, USB port, microHDMI, microSD card slot, and 4GB of internal memory. This ultra thin tablet will come up with latest Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 user interface which provides complete overlay from past Android versions. It will ship with the Amazon Appstore and Amazon Kindle app instead of the usual Google offerings.

ViewSonic expected to ship the E70 during the first quarter of 2012.
