Vodafone Germany officially confirmed that it will be adding two new DVB-T mobile phone models to its range of mobile phones at the beginning of May 2008.

The LG HB620T and the GIGA-BYTE GSmart t600 both have an integrated DVB-T receiver for viewing all free TV channels in excellent quality and in most areas of Germany. Football fans will be able to watch the EURO 2008 on their mobile phones at no extra cost.

It was expected that the new mobile phones will retail for around 100 Euro, only the (EDGE and UMTS enabled) HB620T will be available for 99.00 Euro while the 2.5G t600 costs 289.90 (each with a 24 month contract).
