Vodafone Essar and Research In Motion (RIM) have announced availability of BlackBerry Storm exclusively for Vodafone customers in India from January 15, 2009. Adding another color to touch screen technology, the Storm will be offered via Vodafone Essar, and will fetch Rs. 27,990 (around $580 USD).
Users of the BlackBerry Storm from Vodafone will easy to have and keep Web community pages current, continue instant message chats or even add pictures directly to Flickr.

Designing in a sleek form with contoured corners, chromed frame and a stainless steel back, it features 1 GB on-board memory storage, microSD/SDHD memory card slot supporting up to 16 GB of additional storage per card, Media player, 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, built-in accelerometer, ambient light sensor that adjusts backlight and a removable and rechargeable 1400 mAhr battery.
It also bundles up BlackBerry Internet Service, BlackBerry Professional Software and BlackBerry Enterprise Server support and comes preloaded with DataViz Documents to Go that lets you edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files.
