Microsoft is expected to unveil Windows Mobile 6.5 next week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and someone has posted a 9-minute video on YouTube which appears to show Windows Mobile 6.5 running on an HTC Touch HD.
This video appeared and while no one can say for sure if this is the real WM 6.5 it sure looks legitimate. The fact that it’s over 9 minutes long makes it pretty hard to fake so for now just watch it for amusement if nothing else. There’s plenty of new things to see including the new home screen, “honeycomb†launcher, IE Mobile and portrait mode. This mobile OS might make its way to one of Samsung’s upcoming smartphones.
The video is not official then we shall be waiting for Steve Ballmer to the officially official Windows Mobile 6.5 presentation next week.
