China can now produce similar and very competitive full-size camera lens and a mobile phone, while Sony Ericsson and Samsung are waiting for a favorable opportunity for their own devices. Named X908, with a blend of a full size camera lens and mobile phone China has already built their very own cameraphone.Â
It features a retractable 3x optical zoom lens on the back and a 2 megapixel camera on the front. The X908 seems to be considered as one high-end cameraphone. The dimensions of the X908 are 115 x 55 x 20mm and its weight is the rather hefty 140g. There are still no indications when or whether it will arrive to European markets.
The X908 packs dual SIM, dual microSD slot design and offers a 262K-color touchscreen 3-inch QVGA TFT display for watching your favorite TV shows on-the-go. There’s also a built-in FM radio tuner and stereo Bluetooth (A2DP). As common the Chinese phones, the X908 rates “poor” when it comes to connectivity, as it only offers support for the 900 and 1800 MHz GSM frequencies. The handset packs a battery that can provide a talk-time between 280 and 400 minutes or a stand-by time between 280 and 380 hours. You can get the handset  for a retail price of around 100 Euros (160 USD) from this online retailer.
