Yahoo has announced Yahoo Go 3.0, now with several improvements over the previous version 2.0 for the Windows Mobile platform.

Yahoo! Go is essential solution for anyone with a mobile phone, Send an email, upload photos, download a map, search for answers, check stock quotes, or get breaking news—all that and much more is available through Yahoo! Go.
The application’s user interface now has full support for widgets aimed at providing information on the go. There is now an integrated at-a-glance Yahoo screen and improved oneSearch feature along with a comely Web 2.0-like feel and navigation to the application.

What’s new in Yahoo! Go 3.0?
Yahoo! Go 3.0 has these new features:
New carousel
Revised set of navigation shortcuts in the keypad
Revised menu structure for quick access to Widget functions
In general, Yahoo! Go 3.0 is evolving to a Widget-based, modular application with the following additions:
Settings are managed using a new list, My Widgets.
A new Widget, Home, features oneSearch.
A new Widget Gallery offers you Widgets you can add to the carousel or to My Widgets.
