Kodak’s newest innovative products Zi6 Kodak Camcorder, with YouTube upload functionality. Even though it is pocket sized it captures HD video (720p at 60fps) and is really easy to use. Yes, the camera captures video in 60fps 720p HD, the highest quality of any pocket cam. In addition, it isn’t limited to the amount of internal flash memory thanks to the use of an SDHC memory card slot which theoretically is able to store up to 32GB of footage. Looking remarkably like a cell phone, the Zi6 features a 2.4-inch LCD on a back, and a fixed focus lens on the front. Unlike the Flip, the Zi6 is powered by removable AA batteries while the Flip Mino has a non-removable internal battery. It has a flip-out USB connector that lets you upload YouTube-ready videos straight to the computer without having to go through the hassle of video conversion. The Kodak Zi6 ships with Arcsoft Media Impressions. The press release indicates that this is installable software, rather than the built-in software of the Flip. The Kodak Zi6 will be released later this September for $180, and it will be available in black and pink colors.
